Forma

Forma is an effective treatment for tightening the skin. It uses radiofrequency technology to address various areas on the face and body where wrinkles and / or sagging skin is present. Noticeable results for concerns such as: crow’s feet, nasolabial folds, jowls, neck bands, sagging knees, bingo wings and loose skin around the stomach can be achieved, as skin becomes smoother and firmer.

The skin loses elasticity through the ageing process, as the production of both collagen and elastin starts to decline. The Forma treatment involves moving a warm wand over the chosen area, in circular motions. Heat energy is delivered to the deeper layers of the dermis, aiming to reach a maximum temperature of around 43 degrees. A healing response is then triggered naturally by the body which stimulates the elastin fibres. As a result, the skin tightens and new collagen is produced; increasing the levels within.

The results can start to develop from the very first treatment; developing further through a series of sessions – up to 6 procedures is often recommended (1 per week).
