Ambra Aesthetic Clinic is an award-winning, doctor-led aesthetic and skin clinic in North Finchley, London, founded by Clinical Director Dr Maryam McMillan.
Our philosophy is simple: we treat the person and the skin, not simply the symptom.
Rather than beginning with a particular injectable, laser or device, we begin with an assessment. We look at your skin, facial anatomy, concerns, medical history, lifestyle and what you would realistically like to achieve. Only then do we recommend treatment.
This skin-first, regenerative approach allows us to create personalised plans that may combine advanced skin treatments, regenerative injectables, laser and energy-based technologies, medical-grade skincare and traditional aesthetic medicine.
Sometimes, the most appropriate recommendation is to do less. And sometimes it is to do nothing at all.

Our Clinic
Ambra was founded by Dr Maryam McMillan to create the type of aesthetic clinic she believed patients deserved: clinically led, personal, ethical and focused on long-term skin health rather than trends.
Dr McMillan has practised facial aesthetics since 2005 and founded Ambra Aesthetic Clinic in North Finchley in 2021. Since then, Ambra has developed into a multidisciplinary clinic offering advanced aesthetic medicine, regenerative treatments, laser and energy-based technologies and specialist skin treatments.
The clinic's approach has increasingly moved towards regenerative aesthetics - treatments designed to support skin quality, collagen, structure and function rather than simply changing facial features.
Ambra has received recognition within the UK aesthetics industry, including being named a 2025 finalist for Best Clinic London at the Aesthetics Awards and winner of Best Clinic - South of England at the Safety in Beauty Diamond Awards 2025.
Dr McMillan is also recognised within the industry for her work in skin health, regenerative aesthetics and practitioner education.

No two faces age in exactly the same way. One patient may be concerned about pigmentation. Another may have good skin quality but increasing laxity. Someone else may have volume loss, acne scarring, redness or changes around the eyes.
This is why we do not believe in one-size-fits-all treatment plans.

Sometimes good aesthetic medicine means knowing when not to treat.

I went to see Dr McMillan for the first time about a year ago so she could revise some badly done under eye filler NOT DONE BY DR MCMILLAN, and she’s done the most fantastic job i had terrible anxiety from the previous injector and was very nervous, I did so much research but decided to go ahead with Dr McMillan as she was so reassuring and honest with it all

Ambra Aesthetics are the place to go to for professional, friendly service. You don’t need to go to Harley Street. Dr M and her team are all experts and really take care of you giving the best treatments and advice. Sam on the front desk is a dream. In lots of places the staff can look scary from doing too much but Ambra you can tell it’s all about discrete subtle tweakments. . Don’t hesitate to go!

Such friendly, professional service! Dr Maryam is brilliant and everyone at the clinic is so helpful. Ambra is excellent at Profilho, dermal fillers and Hydrafacial. It is like a top Central London aesthetic clinic on your doorstep – only with easy parking and lovely people!
