Sunekos Skin Boosters
Lines and wrinkles, thinning skin and skin laxity are all common effects that a person experiences through the process of ageing. Collagen and elastin levels are in decline, as time passes, leading to changes in the biological structure of the skin which affect the youthful definition and contouring of the facial features.
Sunekos skin boosters can be applied to the various areas of the face (including under the eyes), décolletage, hands and neck and is available in 2 formulations. Sunekos 200 can be used on many skin types and is found to be very effective when treating the periocular area (reducing dark circles and eye bags) and the forehead. A typical application involves 4 injections to the chosen area, restoring volume and elasticity to the skin.
Sunekos 1200 is better suited to more prominent wrinkles and deeper set concerns, reversing the effects of lost volume and a damaged skin structure to all areas of the face and neck. Anti Oxidising and volumising properties can restore a healthy, more youthful complexion.
A pre-treatment consultation will enable Dr. McMillan to recommend which formula of Sunekos will best achieve the look you desire. A course of up to 4 procedures per area, can enhance the features and rejuvenate the skin. Maintaining the skin’s health and a naturally refreshed look can be achieved through regular top-up procedures, performed every 4 – 6 months.

ARE SUNEKOS SKIN BOOSTERS SAFE?
The application of Sunekos skin boosters should be applied by an experienced injector, such as Dr. McMillan, to ensure the treatment is safe and effective. The product used within this treatment works with the body’s naturally occurring substances to encourage the replenishment of the underlying structure of the skin.
ARE SUNEKOS SKIN BOOSTERS PAINFUL?
This treatment is performed using needles that are very small in size, to minimise any discomfort. As an experienced injector, Dr. McMillan applies the product very carefully and precisely, using a topical numbing before the procedure if the patient would prefer.
ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS OR RISKS ASSOCIATED WITH SUNEKOS SKIN BOOSTERS?
Patients can expect redness to the skin, with some itching and tightness, for the few weeks that follow the treatment. The injections may leave some bruising behind, which can be covered using make-up, and will disappear within a week or so. Dr. McMillan will ensure she explains all side effects and risks, during the pre-treatment consultation, including: haematoma, skin inflammation, poor healing and cysts.
HOW MUCH DOWNTIME CAN I EXPECT?
Many patients find they can continue with their day as normal, following this procedure. Any skin tenderness and sensitivity should pass over the first 24 hours, when any swelling will also have eased. Although each individual has their own level of comfort, injectable skin boosters should not inhibit your ability to carry out everyday tasks.

I went to see Dr McMillan for the first time about a year ago so she could revise some badly done under eye filler NOT DONE BY DR MCMILLAN, and she’s done the most fantastic job i had terrible anxiety from the previous injector and was very nervous, I did so much research but decided to go ahead with Dr McMillan as she was so reassuring and honest with it all

Ambra Aesthetics are the place to go to for professional, friendly service. You don’t need to go to Harley Street. Dr M and her team are all experts and really take care of you giving the best treatments and advice. Sam on the front desk is a dream. In lots of places the staff can look scary from doing too much but Ambra you can tell it’s all about discrete subtle tweakments. . Don’t hesitate to go!
