TREATMENTS

Aerolase Neo

Aerolase Neo is a non-invasive treatment that uses laser technology to improve the complexion’s overall texture and tone. It provides patients with a safe and effective solution to reducing the signs of ageing, quickly and painlessly.

This treatment can be used to help improve the overall condition of the skin, addressing a range of common ageing-related concerns, including: hyperpigmentation (age spots, melasma), fine lines, wrinkles, facial redness / rosacea and mild skin laxity (sagging skin).

Following a course of Aerolase treatment sessions, the conditions that have contributed to a tired looking appearance will start to soften. This will help to restore smoother, more evenly toned skin that also experiences a subtle lift.

During the treatment, offered in our North London Clinic, the handpiece is passed over the skin’s surface, delivering powerful light energy to the deeper layers of the dermis. This is drawn to the water, haemoglobin and melanin (pigment) in the skin, which turns to thermal energy, gently heating the targeted tissues without affecting any of the surrounding skin. As the lightwaves infiltrate the skin at a rapid pulse rate this helps to ensure a straightforward treatment that is quick and comfortable. By heating the tissues in the affected area, it will stimulate the fibres for increased collagen and elastin, as well as fragmenting any pigmented cells and unwanted thread veins. This leads to a clearer, brighter complexion with softer wrinkles and lifted skin.

The Aerolase platform also includes an application that effectively targets acne and acne scarring - NeoClear. The laser focuses on reducing the main causes of breakouts (bacteria, excess oil and inflammation) to lessen the frequency and severity of spots and pimples. Additionally, the production of new collagen can create smoother skin that’s affected by indentations from scarring.
