HarmonyCa® is an innovative dual-effect treatment designed to address volume loss and skin quality in one go. If you’re noticing sagging skin, reduced definition in the cheeks or jawline, or dullness, HarmonyCa® may be the ideal solution.
This hybrid injectable combines hyaluronic acid (HA) with calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA) - two powerful ingredients used in aesthetics. The HA delivers an instant lifting effect and subtle volume restoration, while the CaHA microspheres stimulate your body’s natural collagen production over time, improving skin firmness and elasticity.
The HarmonyCa® treatment typically takes 30-45 minutes and is carried out in a comfortable, clinical setting by one of our trained aesthetic practitioners. To ensure a more comfortable experience, a topical anaesthetic is applied to the skin beforehand, and the product itself also contains a small amount of lidocaine, a local anaesthetic that helps to minimise discomfort during the procedure.
Once the skin is cleansed and numbed, the practitioner uses a fine needle to carefully inject HarmonyCa® into the mid to lower face, targeting areas such as the cheeks, jawline, and nasolabial folds - common zones where volume loss and sagging tend to occur. The injections are strategically placed in the deep dermis or subdermal layer, using advanced techniques to ensure even distribution and a natural-looking result.
Typically, just one HarmonyCa® treatment session is needed to achieve results. However, a follow-up session after 6-12 months may be recommended for maintenance, depending on your skin’s response and aesthetic goals. Your practitioner will tailor a plan during your consultation.
Results appear in two phases: immediate lift and contouring from the HA, followed by gradual skin tightening and texture improvement as new collagen forms over the following 6-12 weeks. Effects can last up to 18 months, depending on individual skin response and lifestyle.

Is the treatment process painful?

You may feel a slight pressure or stinging sensation during the injections, but it is generally mild and short-lived. Are there any side effects or risks associated with HarmonyCa®?
As with most injectable treatments, minor side effects can occur. These may include swelling, redness, bruising, or tenderness at the injection site, typically resolving within a few days. Uncommon risks include infection, allergic reaction, or lump formation. These are infrequent and significantly reduced when the treatment is performed by an experienced practitioner. How much downtime can I expect?
HarmonyCa® often requires minimal downtime. Most patients return to work or daily activities immediately after treatment. You may be advised to avoid intense exercise, heat exposure, and alcohol for 24 hours post-treatment. Following the recommended aftercare helps minimise downtime and supports optimal healing.

I went to see Dr McMillan for the first time about a year ago so she could revise some badly done under eye filler NOT DONE BY DR MCMILLAN, and she’s done the most fantastic job i had terrible anxiety from the previous injector and was very nervous, I did so much research but decided to go ahead with Dr McMillan as she was so reassuring and honest with it all

Ambra Aesthetics are the place to go to for professional, friendly service. You don’t need to go to Harley Street. Dr M and her team are all experts and really take care of you giving the best treatments and advice. Sam on the front desk is a dream. In lots of places the staff can look scary from doing too much but Ambra you can tell it’s all about discrete subtle tweakments. . Don’t hesitate to go!
