Dr Maryam McMillan is a multi-award-nominated aesthetic doctor with over 22 years of advanced experience in facial aesthetics, skin health, and regenerative treatments. She is the founder and clinical director of Ambra Aesthetic Clinic, one of North London’s most trusted and respected doctor-led aesthetic clinics.

Renowned for delivering natural, subtle enhancements, Dr McMillan specialises in injectables, lasers, skin rejuvenation, and personalised anti-ageing treatment plans. Her approach is rooted in medical precision, ethical care, and a deep understanding of facial anatomy—earning her a reputation as a leading expert in aesthetic medicine.

Dr McMillan holds dual qualifications in Pharmacology and Dentistry, giving her a unique edge in both clinical decision-making and facial harmony. Under her leadership, Ambra Aesthetic Clinic has been repeatedly recognised for excellence, including multiple nominations at the prestigious Aesthetic Awards, such as Best Clinic in London and Best Non-Surgical Result.

As a Save Face-accredited and highly skilled practitioner, Dr McMillan combines the latest technology—including Morpheus8, NeoGen Plasma, Aerolase, the latest Aura 3D imaging, and regenerative injectables—to deliver results that enhance, not alter.

Dr. Roddy McMillan is our in-house Oral Medicine Consultant, who also runs a facial pain clinic, for which he offers expert advice and personalised treatments.

Dr. Roddy McMillan studied dentistry at the University of Glasgow and Medicine at the University of Birmingham. In 2005 he was awarded membership to the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons (RCS) of England, obtaining a Fellowship of Dental Surgery (Oral Medicine) at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in 2013, as well as Fellowship to the Higher Education Authority in the same year.

As some aspects of facial aesthetics can overlap with Roddy’s specialist area, he is a unique addition to the Ambra Aesthetic Clinic’s timetable. Conditions such as jaw muscle pain, chronic headaches and migraines are some common concerns that have seen much success when treated using the right products.

Roddy works closely with Dr. Maryam to help in identifying the cause of your facial pain, and then explains the best treatment options for you. Facial pain is a physical concern that others cannot see; however, it can impact very much on the affected person’s well-being.

Standing by the ethics that are characteristic of Ambra Aesthetic Clinic, Roddy works to understand both the physical and emotional aspects of each patient in order to fully address their needs and produce a successful outcome.

A Consultant and Honorary Clinical Fellow in Oral Medicine and Facial Pain, Roddy currently works at the Royal National ENT & Eastman Dental Hospitals, University College London Hospital NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH). He also is the clinical lead of the world renowned Facial Pain

Multidisciplinary Team at the Royal National ENT & Eastman Dental Hospitals. Prior to completing his specialist training in Oral Medicine at the Eastman Dental Hospital, Roddy’s working experience has seen him acquire skills in a variety of different healthcare fields, including hospital medicine and general practice dentistry. In 2020, Roddy supported the NHS Covid-19 effort when he was temporarily redeployed to the department of obstetrics at UCLH.

His present role includes the treatment of oral medicine and facial pain patients, in addition to being actively involved in research and clinical teaching.

Samantha Greene (Sam) is Ambra Aesthetic Clinic’s manager and Personal and Virtual Assistant to Dr. Maryam McMillan. She is responsible for taking great care of the day to day running of the clinic, is always on hand to speak with patients, answering enquiries and organising any bookings as well as ensuring the clinics administrative practises are on point.

Sam is often the first point of contact for many of the patients and will personally answer all your calls and emails. As front of house manager, Sam meets and greets all those who visit the clinic and is a true representative of Ambra Aesthetics. Sam is an active figure throughout your treatment journey and will be just as much involved as Dr. Maryam herself.

Her warm and caring manner fits right in with the calm and relaxing ambience that has been created within the clinic, going all out to make sure that everyone who comes through our doors is sincerely welcomed. Your initial enquiry will be answered by Sam who will find a mutually convenient time for you to meet with Dr. Maryam for a pre-treatment consultation. When you come to the clinic you will be greeted by Sam who will settle you into the surroundings, ensuring you are comfortable and are well catered for.

When you are ready, she will introduce you to Dr. Maryam who will take you through to the treatment room. Sam will arrange any follow up appointments with you before you leave the clinic and she will keep in contact with you in the days that follow to ensure you are ok. Just like Dr. Maryam, Sam is always available to answer any concerns or questions you may have before, during or after your treatment.
