Deso Fat Dissolving Injections
Injections contain deoxycholic acid; a bile salt produced in the gallbladder that works to break down the fats that we consume.
Stubborn fat is usually found in localised areas of the face, jawline and chin. These deposits of fatty tissue often resist the efforts of a healthy diet and exercise regime, causing a degree of frustration and embarrassment to the affected person.
Deso fat dissolving injections for the face are becoming more frequently requested by patients, as a safe and effective alternative to traditional fat reducing methods (such as liposuction or cryolipolysis – fat freezing), proving to be quicker and less invasive.
Your experienced practitioner will inject the solution into the adipose tissue (fat) under the skin, which then works to dissolve the outer membrane of the fat cells. As the structure of the treated cells no longer exists, they can be naturally dissolved by the body and disposed of.
The process of disposal can take between 3 and 6 weeks to complete, when the results can start to become visible. For use on the face, this treatment can be performed alongside dermal fillers for complete contouring and revitalisation of the jawline.
Although 1 procedure can produce a successful outcome, Ambra Aesthetics may advise a series of around 4 treatment sessions, performed every 4 – 6 weeks.

AM I SUITABLE FOR FAT DISSOLVING INJECTIONS?
As this treatment is not an intended alternative for considerable weight loss, a suitable patient would have localised areas of fat that are pinchable by 1.5 to 10cm. It may not be advised if a person is, or may be, pregnant.
ARE FAT DISSOLVING INJECTIONS SAFE?
This treatment is clinically proven and is considered to be very safe when administered by an expert injector. Ambra Aesthetic Clinic ensures adequate training of these procedures has been undertaken, adhering to strict policies and protocols regarding patient safety and well-being.
ARE FAT DISSOLVING INJECTIONS PAINFUL?
Measures will be taken to ensure the procedure remains as pain free as possible. Lidocaine is added to the solution, a substance that can help to ensure comfort.
ARE THERE ANY SIDE EFFECTS OR RISKS?
Some swelling, aching and sensitivity may occur as a result of this treatment. These effects should be fairly minor and will subside within a short space of time. There is also the possibility of some post-treatment bruising, which could last for up to 7 days.
IS THERE ANY ASSOCIATED DOWNTIME?
The procedure should not cause the patient any associated downtime and normal activities could be returned to immediately after treatment if the patient wishes. Ambra Aesthetic Clinic may recommend the use of a compression to be worn for several days after the treatment, but this should not be restrictive.

Ambra Aesthetics are the place to go to for professional, friendly service. You don’t need to go to Harley Street. Dr M and her team are all experts and really take care of you giving the best treatments and advice. Sam on the front desk is a dream. In lots of places the staff can look scary from doing too much but Ambra you can tell it’s all about discrete subtle tweakments. . Don’t hesitate to go!
